In 2019, Volleyball Elite Academy introduced the Black History Month (BHM) Tournament, a special occasion commemorating the achievements of our organization and the remarkable student-athletes we nurture. This yearly tournament takes place in February and features a dynamic roster of over 20 teams, spanning from Under 6 to Under 18, attracting an enthusiastic audience of nearly 1,000 supporters.

The event creates a festive atmosphere, with an array of vendors and local supporters contributing to its vibrancy. Volleyball Elite’s tournament showcases the exceptional capabilities of our girls, both on and off the court, as they strive to reach their goals. As we celebrate unity and pay homage to our history, we are excited to promote and celebrate Black excellence as well, especially the young student-athletes we serve!
